Well, I'm going to try and keep up with this and add things regularly. I am new to this, so I hope you'll bear with me as I try to figure this out. This will be my first attempt to add a picture, so I'm going to cross my fingers and hope this works! This picture is a block that I am working on called Carson's Star. My son Carson sat beside me as I worked on it and made suggestions about color, scale and orientation. I am really happy with the way it turned out and plan to make 8 more in different color combinations. I will post another picture, if and when, I ever get to that point and maybe a few along the way.
cool looking star! It has so much dimension and begs for you to touch it. great job and tell Carson great job. =)
ReplyDeleteHey thanks! I guess people do read these things. Especially if you beg. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL. too funny. I know all too well what you mean though. LOL
ReplyDeleteDo you have a blog and do you have a link in every post?
ReplyDeleteGreat design.. a very successful 3-D effect! I bet the rest of the blocks will be great.

I do have a blog. When you click on my name it should take it to my blog. I'm not good about writing in it at all and have been more personal than business. I need to get better.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great star block!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck learning the blog thing...it is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.

Thanks Cindy and Robin for checking out my blog! I'm so new to this that I'm not even sure if you will get my response, but I hope you will.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog today and wanted to say that I love this star design...is it for a paper-pieced pattern?
