In an earlier post, I said my New Year's Resolution was to create a new block each day of 2009. I have to admit that some days I didn't even open my quilt design software, BUT on other days, I have designed MORE than one block, so I think, all in all, so far this year I have stuck with my resolution. I have been using the same quilt layout when I put the new blocks in a quilt and have really liked the results on some of them. I don't know which ones I will actually make into quilts or publish a pattern, so if anyone has an opinion, I'd like to hear it.
Sue - I see this quilt block and pattern and think "Lakehouse" - they have wonderful fabrics that would just pop with this design! If you publish directions, let us all know. A block a day - great way to keep inspiration flowing.
